There’s nothing I love more than a crisp, beautiful autumn day in England. Back in Poland, weather at this time of year is bitter cold, but I don’t mind the chill – give me wrapping up warm over getting soaked in English rain any day! Here is an autumnal style shoot I was a part of, alongside some great fellow wedding businesses.
The Bedford Hotel is nestled in the heart of Tavistock. Transformed into a hotel in 1822, the building retains many of its original features alongside the contemporary changes made over the years. The perfect venue for the vintage vibe we had in mind for this shoot – with a touch of modern glamour, of course. Not to mention the walled gardens and close proximity to the riverbank. How romantic!
The colour scheme for this shoot was full of crimson, green and gold hues, from the bouquets atop the tables by fantastic Flowers Going Green, to the bridesmaid dress to the bride’s lipstick. Dresses were provided by Angel Face Bridal Studios, and to go with them, beautiful bespoke shoes and accessories by Bella Rose. Set against all these stunning components was stationery by Swoon at the Moon. The models had their hair and make up done to perfection by The Hair Lounge and No 5 Aesthetic & Beauty Clinic. What a treat!
The tables were topped with sequin tablecloths courtesy of The Pretty Accessory, the perfect touch of glitz in champagne coloured sequins. The props, or forgotten treasures as they like to call them, were supplied by Cybels Vintage. They were the perfect finishing touches and really made the whole look come together.
It was a real pleasure to work in this gorgeous setting; – be sure to check it out!
